Philip Robert Laatsch

Philip Robert Laatsch, of Glen Arm, MD, died at the age of 95 on December 7, 2016 at Glen Meadows Retirement Community in Glen Arm. He was born in Lake Mills, WI to Robert William and Ella (Stresman) Laatsch. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was employed as a truck driver in the food industry. He loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing. During his high school years he enjoyed playing sports. He was active in the church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Laatsch; his children, Jerry Laatsch (Rebecca Bushey) of Hagerstown, Roger Laatsch (Rebecca) of New Windsor and Elizabeth Laatsch of The Florida Keys, FL; his sister, Joan Lund of Madison, WI; his daughter-in-law, Mary Laatsch; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lois Laatsch and his son Douglas Laatsch.
