Philip "Phil" James Badinger Sr.

Philip "Phil" James Badinger Sr., age 65, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on March 17, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of Mildred Iola Stevenson Douglas and the late James Girard Badinger Sr. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a Special Forces Green Beret who served our country during the Vietnam War. He loved his family, was always joking and outgoing, and was very, very handy and could fix anything.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Margaret Mary "Maggie" Maher Badinger; sons, Philip "PJ" James Badinger Jr. and Brian Alexander Badinger, all of Edgewood, MD; daughter, Shawn Heather Badinger of Lawrenceville, GA; stepchildren, Eileen Badinger and Francis "Gary" Norris; brothers, Gerald "Jerry" Badinger of Tucson, AZ, David Badinger of Charlestown, WV and James Badinger of Edgewood, MD; sister, Mariea Thompson of Middle River, MD; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild with another on the way.
