Philip (Phil) H. Wing

PHILIP “PHIL” H. WING, age 38, of Gaithersburg, MD, formerly of Silver Spring, MD, died on May 13, 2006 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of David Hequemboung and Sara Wing of Havre de Grace, MD. He was a taxicab operator for Balwood Taxi in Montgomery County, MD. His family said that he enjoyed his work transporting his customers where they requested and that he had received the taxicab driver of the month award. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughter on his days off.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wing is survived by his daughter, Rachel E. Jenkins-Wing of Laurel, MD; one brother, Louis A. Wing of Miami, FL; one sister, Jennifer W. Sirkis of Rising Sun, MD; and his grandmother, Lottie Denber of Moorestown, NC.
