Perry Parviz Namvary

Perry Parviz Namvary, age 70, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on November 9, 2011 at his home. Born in Tabriz, Iran, he was the son of the late Mehdi and Mahin Namvary. He graduated in 1963 from the German Naval Academy in Bremen, Germany and attained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy of Iran where he served 20 years. He spent 25 years as an entrepreneur and small business owner in the United States where he was owner/operator of a retail and printing business. He loved to travel, play poker, cook and spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Namvary is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mimi Massoudeh Namvary of Bel Air, MD; son, Shaheen Namvary of Montreal, Canada; daughter, Parissa N. Snider and husband, Scott of Bel Air, MD; brother, Dr. Karl Namvary of Havre de Grace, MD; sister, Jale Namvary of Iran; and grandchildren, Mina and Gage Snider of Bel Air, MD.
