Perna L. Bare

PERNA L. BARE, age 74, of Port Deposit, formerly of Joppa, died at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Elkton on June 6, 2004. Born in Thurmond, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Hillary and Ruth Holcomb Luffman and the wife of the late Leonard B. Bare. She had retired after 25 years of service with Belco in Kingsville as a machine operator. Her family said she enjoyed her grandchildren.

Mrs. Bare is survived by four sons, Ronnie J. Bare of Belcamp; Bobby L. Bare of Port Deposit; Donnie L. Bare of Edgewood; Rickey J. Bare of Port Deposit; three daughters, Kathy A. McKinney of Port Deposit; Barbara J. Whitt of Aberdeen; Donna L. Mutter of Aberdeen; four sisters, Iva Dean Collins; Nancy Wiles, both of Thurmond, North Carolina; Myrtle Horn of State Road, North Carolina; Jerry Church of Ronda, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: James B. Bare, Michael L. Bare, and Buddy Rich.
