Peggy Ann Way

On April 20 2024, Peggy Ann Way went to be with her Lord.  She was the daughter of the late Arthur H. Way and the late Sarah M. Fissel Way. She was also predeceased by her brothers, William E. Way and Vincent L. Way. Peggy is survived by nieces and nephews, Stephen D. Way, Myra L. Trusty, David A. Way, Robert V. Way, and Jennifer C. Givens. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Karen Way and Deborah Way.

Peggy was a lifelong educator having worked for Harford County Public Schools teaching third grade and special education, Bureau of Indian Affairs teaching kindergarten, and also worked at the Harford County Public Library.

She was a long-time member at Joppatowne Christian Church and will be remembered for her willingness to serve as teacher, youth leader, and mission ministry team leader. She volunteered locally in Harford County for the FCCAU (now the Welcome One Emergency Shelter) serving the homeless population. She was also a member of the Phi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.

Visitation will be held at Joppatowne Christian Church on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. and a service at 10:00 a.m. followed by a meal in the church fellowship hall.
