Peggy Ann Keithley

Peggy Ann Keithley, age 90, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on August 1, 2023 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Born in Cambridge, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lucy (Wallace) Trego Sr. and wife of the late Karl Kenneth Keithley Jr. Peggy worked as an operator at C&P Telephone in Baltimore, Maryland for several years before she met her husband and had a family.  As an active mother, Peggy made sure she did everything she could for her daughter.  Once her family was raised, she worked at the Harford Mall in Bel Air for Mid-Atlantic Reality in the food court, which she loved. When her granddaughter, Brianna, was born, Peggy became a loving and devoted grandmother.  Peggy was a faithful and long-time member of Emmorton Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her family. Peggy never knew a stranger and enjoyed being around people, making friends wherever she went.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Karen Wall (Michael Cooper); granddaughter, Brianna Farmer (Noah Farmer); brother, Larry Trego; sisters, Joan Boone and Sonnia Chambers, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Peggy was preceded in death by brothers, William Trego, Robert Trego, and Samuel Trego, Jr.; sisters, Dorotha Ashe and Norma Mortimer.
