Peggy Hyer

November 9, 1940 — February 17, 2004

PEGGY HYER, age 63, of Fallston, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on February 17, 2004. Born in Rome, Georgia, she was the daughter of Arline “Granny” Weaver of Sutton, West Virginia, and the late Joe Weaver. She had retired after 23 years from Johns Hopkins University where she worked as a hospital administrator. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite place was Ireland. She died surrounded by the love of her family.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Hyer is survived by her husband of 43 years, Harold G. Hyer; three sons, Tommy Glen Hyer and his wife, Corina of Amarillo, Texas; Tim Greg Hyer and his partner, Bill Florence of Plymouth, Massachusetts; Todd Graham Hyer and his wife, Kristen of Baltimore; one daughter, Tricia Gayle Grabeel and her husband, Stephen of Gordonsville, Virginia; five grandchildren, Colleen M. Hyer; T.J. Hyer both of Amarillo, Texas; Jacob H. Grabeel; Erin A. Grabeel both of Gordonsville, Virginia; and Kendall B. Hyer of Baltimore.
