Peggy June Harden

Peggy June Harden, age 80, a beloved resident of Joppa, Maryland, passed away on January 22, 2024, at Sterling Care Bel Air in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Joppa, she was the cherished daughter of the late Paul and Agnes (Cornes) Harden. Peggy was a dedicated member of Mountain Christian Church, finding solace and community in her faith.

A woman of remarkable dedication, Peggy contributed 23 years of service to both the Bata Shoe Company and the Best Western Hotel. Her commitment and strong work ethic left a lasting impact on those around her. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Peggy was known for her love of country music and the joy she found in solving puzzles, hobbies that brought her immense happiness throughout her life.

Peggy is survived by her loving sister, Patricia Harden of Bel Air, MD, who shares in the grief of her passing. 

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty L. Harden, and Dorothy M. Harden.
