Pearry Raymond Bandy

PEARRY RAYMOND BANDY, age 71, of Abingdon, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on July 30, 2005. Born in Vallscreek, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Elias and Annie Gertrude Tipton Bandy. He had retired in 2003 from Price Brothers where he worked as a foreman of pipe fitters. He enjoyed fishing and his grandchildren. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Bandy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dana Lucille Christian Bandy; one son, Mark Dwain Bandy of Edgewood; three daughters, Patricia Ann Walter of Abingdon, Diane Bandy of Abingdon, and Kimberly Sue Plutto of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; three brothers, Louis Bandy of Havre de Grace, Jack Bandy of Vallscreek, West Virginia, and Arie Bandy of Vallscreek, West Virginia; one sister, Phyllis Evans of North East, Maryland; three grandchildren, Hope Smith of Abingdon, Summer and Siara Plutto, both of Chesapeake Beach, MD; and one great-grandchild, Destiny Smith of Abingdon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Roy Bandy and Bud Bandy.
