Pearly May Shipley

Pearly May Shipley, age 71, of Edgewood, MD, died on October 18, 2008 at Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, MD. Born in Bradshaw, WV, she was the daughter of the late James and Nancy Baldwin Smith and wife of the late Robert Lee Shipley Jr. She was a life member of Joppa Magnolia Ladies Auxiliary and worked at McDonalds at Constant Friendship.

She is survived by a son, Russell K. Shipley and wife, Deborah, of Dyersburg, TN; daughter, Margaret "Peggy" L. Kelly of Baltimore, MD; step-daughters, Mary L. Divvers of Calvert County, MD and Evelyn M. Garcia of California; brother, John C. Kennedy of Ohio; sister, Mary L. Yannuzzi of Baltimore, MD; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Anna Elizabeth Shipley; step-son, Robert L. Shipley III; step-daughter, Barbara Angel; and siblings, Robert Smith, William Smith, Howard Smith, Estel Smith, Edward Smith, Rachel Flanary, Ethel Smith, Dorothy Phillips, Patton Richardson, Eldridge Kennedy, Charlie Kennedy Jr., Roy Richardson, Walter Richardson, Earl Kennedy, and Julie Kulchar.
