Pauline Ray Heilman

April 3, 1924 — October 10, 2013

Pauline Ray Heilman, age 89, of Joppa, MD passed away on October 10, 2013 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Russell and Bertha Schantz Ray and wife of the late Charles R. Heilman. A lifetime member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, she had been a volunteer at Wyman Park Hospital. She loved to travel to the Outer Banks in North Carolina and was the reigning Upwords champion in Maryland for four years running.

Mrs. Heilman is survived by her sons, Terry Heilman and wife, Karen, of Joppa, Gary Ray Heilman and wife, Billie Jo, of Forest Hill and Larry Heilman and wife, Melonie, of Joppa; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and dog, Sam. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, George Russell Ray Jr. and sister, Ruth Ebbert.
