Pauline Gentry Jones

Pauline Gentry Jones, age 84, of Bel Air, MD, died on June 1, 2010. Born in Ashe County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Della Tilley Gentry and wife of the late Jack D. Jones Sr. She moved to Baltimore as a young woman where she studied nursing before going to work for Acme Food Stores, from which she retired as a cashier with over 30 years of service. A member of the American Legion, she was active at Perry Point VA Medical Center.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Hensley of Mesa, AZ; son, Jack Jones of Bel Air, MD; brother, C.L. Gentry of Ashe County, NC; four grandchildren, Patrick Hensley, Bethany Allendorf, Christopher Hensley, and Brian Jones; and great-granddaughter, Sydney Allendorf.
