Paul Woodrow Wright

PAUL WOODROW WRIGHT, age 86, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on May 14, 2008 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Independence, VA, he was the son of the late Fred and Mazy Combs Wright. A Harford County resident for 70 years, he worked at Mitchell Pontiac and Cadillac in Havre de Grace, MD for 30 years, where he was a service manager and at JP Chevrolet for 10 years. He also worked at Walmart in Aberdeen for 15 years as a greeter, and enjoyed seeing the people there. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for 10 years.

Mr. Wright is survived by his wife of 66 years, Hazel Dean Turner Wright of Havre de Grace, MD; three sons, William D. Wright and his wife, Carol, of Port Deposit, MD, Joe A. Wright and his wife, Darlene, of North East, MD, and Donald W. Wright and his wife, Louise, of Perryville, MD; four brothers, Claude A. Wright of Independence, VA, Randolph Wright of Galax, VA, Ted Wright of Independence, VA, and Grayson Wright of Blacksburg, VA; one sister, Donna Burnett of Utica, NY; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Edna Wright and Lucille Bowers.
