Paul W. Brewer, age 65, of Whiteford, MD, passed away on January 8, 2013 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Fountain Green, MD, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Ollie Marie Hale Brewer. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Vietnam War. He worked as a meter reader for BGE where he retired after 30 years of service. He also worked at Bel Air Bowl for several years and, for 10 years, drove school bus #994 for Moxley Transportation picking up children at C. Milton Wright, Fountain Green Elementary and the Arrow School. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the Whiteford American Legion and was one of the first non-related living kidney donors. He enjoyed telling people jokes.
Mr. Brewer is survived by his wife of 38 years, Judy Morrison Brewer; sons, Brandon P. Brewer and B. Patrick Brewer both of Whiteford; brothers, Jesse and Donald Brewer of Bel Air and Ray Brewer of Churchville; sisters, Mary Wilck of Palmyra, NY and Linda Mathews of Chase; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Bane, Carl Brooks, Jeffrey Thomas, David Thomas, Kevin Williams and Kirk Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Brewer, Patrick Brewer, Ralph Rexroth, Debbie Rexroth, John Thomas, Carol Thomas, Emory Holbrook Jr., Jesse Brewer, Donald Brewer, Ray Brewer, and William Suitt.
