Paul J. Yanney, Sr.

Paul J. Yanney Sr., age 91, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on December 16, 2011 at Citizens Care in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Dushore, PA he was the son of the late Charles Raymond and Theresa Mary Brochart Yanney. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for Crown Cork and Seal for 40 years as an engineer. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Catholic War Veterans. He enjoyed gardening, was a good cook, and could fix anything.
Mr. Yanney is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anna Marie Zappacosta Yanney of Havre de Grace, MD; sons, Paul J. Yanney Jr. of Darlington, MD, Larry Yanney of Carney, MD, Charles Yanney of Sparks, MD and David Yanney of Delta, PA; daughters, Theresa Fielder of Havre de Grace, MD and Patricia Cox of Nottingham, MD; sister, Helen Zacherl of MD; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Luke Yanney.
