Paul Harold Boggs

Paul Harold Boggs, age 91, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on February 23, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Paul and Myrtle (Tilley) Boggs and husband of Edith (Herrman) Boggs for 69 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Most recently, he was a member of Parkville Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland; prior to that, he was active at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland for over 40 years. Harold (as he preferred to be called) worked for the U. S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier for 37 years until his retirement in 1989. After his retirement, he drove part-time for 15 years for Harford Transit before fully retiring in his early 80’s. Paul enjoyed camping, yard work, eating out, and watching sports. His family describes him as a simple, hardworking, honorable, all-American man who loved dogs and his truck.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his son, Christopher Boggs; daughters, Cherie Pace, Laurie Boggs, and Debbie Mallory; grandchild, Melody Ghirardello; and great grandchildren, Elijah Ghirardello, and Micah Ghirardello.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by sister, Helen Boggs and brother, Jerry Boggs.
