PAUL COTTRILL, age 73, of Joppa, died in Franklin Square Hospital on January 9, 2003. Born in Frozen, West Virginia, he was the son of the late William Anderson and Birdie Groves Cottrill. He had retired after 42 years at Bethlehem Steel where he was a supervisor of the hot mill. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church and an avid hunter and fisherman. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Cottrill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara E. White Cottrill; two sons, Charles W. Cottrill, Sr. of Port Deposit; Terry P. Cottrill of Delta, Pennsylvania; one brother, Donald Cottrill of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Bethel Robinson of Joppa; Edna Simmons of Chesapeake, Virginia; Georgia Hollands of White Hall; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Ruth Ulderich.
