Paul Clifford Paulsen

Paul Clifford Paulsen, age 78, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on December 12, 2015 at his home after a long illness. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Paul William and Marie Cecilia (Clifford) Paulsen. He served our country in the Army and Air National Guard, and retired as a facility manager at Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Paulsen is survived by his wife, Geraldine Joan (Janowski) Paulsen; sons, Will Paulsen and wife Kim and John Paulsen; daughters, Jennifer Schaefer and husband Al and Teresa Fahlsing and husband Nathan; and grandchildren, Lauren, Josef, Ellen, Mason, Eva, Marie, Anneke, and Sophia; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Anna Zellinger.

Paul was a long-time resident of Bel Air, active in the Bel Air Parks and Recreation baseball, softball, and soccer programs, and Boy Scouting. He had a life-long love of music; played and taught guitar; and enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his children and grandchildren. Paul was also employed as a project manager with the Harford County Public Schools and as a facility manager with Maryland Cup Corporation,
