Patton Miller

PATTON MILLER, age 84, of Joppa, MD, died on January 13, 2007, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Jefferson, NC, he was the son of the late Christopher Columbus and Ida Virginia Belcher Miller. He served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He was a truck driver for Genstar Campbell & Son, retiring after 25 years. He attended Franklinville Presbyterian Church and was a member of the American Legion Post 39 in Bel Air. He was an avid horse racing fan, hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 58 years, Johnobra Craven Miller of Joppa, MD; two daughters, Barbara Ann Sheets of North Wilkesboro, NC, and Patricia Gail Stangeland of Bel Air, MD; one sister, Johnsie Dancy of Jefferson, NC; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
