Patrick Vincent Gonzalez

PATRICK VINCENT GONZALEZ, age 64, of Churchville, departed this earth Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Jose Pillar and Josephine Angela Grecco Gonzalez. He was a Harford County resident and business owner for over 35 years. He owned several 7-11 convenience stores and was very involved as a franchise owner. His love of people and wine led him to own two wine shops and he became certified as a wine aficionado. His extensive personal collection of wine and cigars was a source of great pride. Additionally, he was a lover of all sports and was an avid fan of all Maryland teams. Most importantly, his biggest joy in life was his large family. He had served in the Army Reserves.

The character of a man can be told by the friends he keeps – clearly Patrick was well loved by all of his friends. Pat was a loyal and giving friend and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his loving wife, Margaret A. Rembold Gonzalez; four daughters, Valerie Stonesifer of Whiteford, Lorrie McIntyre of Kill Devil Hills, NC, Kristen Kosar of Churchville, and Tara Dedeaux of Bel Air; bothers and sisters, Joseph Gonzalez of Shalimar, FL, Manuel Gunne of Salt Lake City, UT, John Gonzalez of Churchville, Teresa Caviston of Cambridge, Ann Christine Kulick of Mansfield, PA, Rudi Gonzalez of Churchville, Rose Gonzalez of Bel Air, and V. Rocky Gonzalez of Churchville; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous much loved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Ronald Kosar, Steven Dedeaux, Roger McIntyre, Sr., Roger McIntyre, Jr., Patrick Quist, Luther Hahn, Marcus Moses, and Stephen Skillman.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 8600 LaSalle Road, Suite 314, Chester Building, Baltimore, MD 21286.
