Patrick Gardner, age 56, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on July 6, 2024. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of the late George and Patricia (Doud) Gardner.
Patrick was born and raised in Harford County, where he built a life filled with service and dedication. For over 20 years, he served as a Federal Police Officer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, a role he cherished. His commitment to helping people and his great sense of humor were hallmarks of his character.
Patrick had a special love for rescuing and rehabbing pit bull dogs, reflecting his deep compassion for animals. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying the natural beauty and adventures the outdoors provided. Family gatherings, especially those featuring Maryland crabs, were among his favorite pastimes.
He is survived by his sisters, Marguerite Coale and her fiancée Jay Fisher, and Christina Gardner Rodgers and her husband Darren Rodgers. He also leaves behind his beloved nephew, Michael Coale, and his niece, Arial Rodgers, along with his uncle, Terence E. Doud. Patrick adored his nephew and niece, and they held a special place in his heart.
