August 22, 1955 — October 4, 2024

Patrick Thomas Benoska, age 69, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on October 4, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Larksville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Andrew and Ruth (Johns) Benoska.

Known and respected in his community, Patrick was always there when someone needed a hand. Whether it was offering advice, support, or even the shirt off his back, he exemplified kindness and generosity.

He worked for many years at Bethlehem Steel and was an avid sports fan, with a deep love for baseball and unwavering support for the Orioles. Patrick also had a deep connection with animals, especially his beloved cats, who he treated as part of his family.

One of his greatest achievements in life was maintaining his sobriety for over 40 years. During that time, Patrick not only remained strong in his own journey but also helped many others find their way in recovery, becoming a source of strength and encouragement for countless people.
