Patricia Virginia Buchanan

Patricia Virginia Buchanan, age 71, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on November 11, 2014 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Aberdeen, MD, she is the daughter of the late James Archer Scotten Sr. and Nellie Virginia Taylor Scotten and wife of 42 years to the late Robert Buchanan. She was a nurse at Harford Memorial Hospital for 40 years and enjoyed arts and crafts, flower arranging, theatre shows and traveling with family and friends. Mrs. Buchanan was also an avid fan of the Aberdeen Ironbirds and was a 10 year season ticket holder. Mrs. Buchanan adored her Grandson, Reese, and enjoyed supporting him in his many activities.

Mrs. Buchanan is survived by her son, Michael Buchanan and wife, Jillian, of Havre de Grace; brother, James A. Scotten Jr. and wife Rosalie of Bel Air; and grandchild, Reese C. Buchanan. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa M. Buchanan, step son, Michael Hagy and sister, Mabel Thomas Donley.
