Patricia "Pat" Hoerl (Wartman)

Patricia "Pat" Hoerl, age 83, of Bel Air, MD passed away on September 22, 2018 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Charles Harry Wartman and Anna Barbara (Oechsler) Wartman. She was active with the Telephone Pioneers of America for over 30 years which included service as Pioneer Administrator for 3 years. She was also a member of the Jarrettsville Homemakers for 21 years, and a member and volunteer at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Abingdon. Pat enjoyed reading, and doing arts and crafts, but mostly loved spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Hoerl is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alvin Hoerl; three daughters, Kathy Foehrkolb, Terri El-Jallad (Khader), Diane Stevens (Edward); son, Tom Hoerl (Kristina); brother, Charles H. Wartman, Jr. (Harriet); ten grandchildren, Ryan El-Jallad, Louis Foehrkolb (Amy), Laila El-Jallad (Trevor), Lisa Foehrkolb, Amanda Foehrkolb, Abid El-Jallad, Denise Hoerl, Amy Stevens, Erin Hoerl, and Andrew Stevens; great-grandchildren, Isabeau VonBogert, Alex McClafferty, Dexter McClafferty, Sheena Foehrkolb, Ruby Foehrkolb; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte "Sue" McDonald.
