Patricia Olwen Pringle

Patricia Olwen Pringle affectionately known as “Patty” was born October 5, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John Hinton and Pearl Elizabeth Green. She was the eldest of 10 children. She was raised in Baltimore County and attended Baltimore Public Schools.

Patricia spent most of her adult life as a resident of Harford County, Maryland. She worked at Kroh’s Cleaners in Bel Air, Maryland. On January 16, 1992, Patricia was married to the love of her life, Clarence Bernard Pringle. From that union they were blessed with two daughters and two sons. She balanced and devoted her time between being a housewife, Mother, Grandma, and assistant to her husband’s jobs. Patricia loved doing crossword puzzles, playing jacks, sewing, cooking, and playing cards, especially honeymoon bridge. But her passion was gardening. She was known for her green thumb. She loved planting flowers in her garden and growing vegetables. She loved house plants. She would nurture her plants until they got to a point where she would cut them just to start another.

On January 27, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Patricia was called home to rest and made her transition to eternal life.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband; both parents, sister Mary, brother James, 5 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law and stepson Bernie.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories sons, Charles Norris, Thomas Pringle (Altice) and Gregory Pringle (Lori); daughters, Cindy Cromwell (Mark) and Melinda Hill (Don); stepdaughters, Teresa Ann Cromwell and Lori Elizabeth Pringle; sisters, Phyllis Amos, Nancy Brown, Melvina Jones, Carolyn Norris, Gloria Patterson, Crystal Murray, and Vivian Green; brother, Lawrence Norris; grandchildren Allen, Katrina, Shalamar, Satoya, Sherica, Shaqua, Mark, Charlie, Keishia, Jazmine, Michael, and Andre; great grandchildren Alexis, Leondra, Nashawn, Demetrius, Tatianna, Jaylyn, Jamila, Sa’ricia, and Zion; 3 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of extended family and friends.
