Patricia M. Brown

Patricia M. Brown, age 72, of Joppa, MD passed away on March 17, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born on May 25, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Melvin Lincoln Metzger and Elsie Marie (Schneider) Metzger. She graduated from Dundalk Senior High School and Maryland General School of Nursing where she became a Registered Nurse. She went back to school and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the College of Notre Dame and her Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University. She retired from Maryland General Hospital as a Senior Vice President of Nursing and was VP of Nursing at Fallston General Hospital. She was a member of the American Hospital Association, a past President of the Association of Nurse Executives, the current President of the Maryland General Hospital Alumni Association, and a member of the Dundalk High School Reunion Committee for the Class of 1963. She was also a past member of the Foundation Board of Harford Community College. She was an active member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church for many years.

Pat is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert John Brown; son, Robert Durry Brown (fiancée Michele Howe); daughter, Erin B. Millon (husband Mark); Mom-Mom to Megan Lynne Alexander (husband Robert Tyler), Taylor Durry Brown, McCabe Anthony Millon and Brendan Robert Millon; brother, Robert Metzger and sister Doris Poulsen; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin Metzger and David Metzger.
