Patricia Grace Smallwood

PATRICIA GRACE SMALLWOOD, age 64, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 4, 2008. Born in Bradshaw, MD, she was the daughter of the late Richard Lane Doss and the late Alma Mae Blevins Marsh. She had a special love for animals and would take care of many that would wander to her house. She was a wonderful cook and loved roses and bird watching. Her children were her most prized possessions and she enjoyed raising them and many others.

Mrs. Smallwood is survived by her husband of 50 years, Stanley Elliott Smallwood Sr. of Bel Air, MD; four sons, Stanley E. Smallwood Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Edgewood, MD, Edward Bruce Smallwood and is wife, Bonita, of Darlington, MD, James Baxter Smallwood and his fiancée, Catherine Syberg, of Edgewood, MD, David Paul Smallwood and his fiancée, Angela Blevins, of Edgewood, MD; two daughters, Patricia Ann Bennett of Joppa, MD and Tammy Lynn Renner and her husband, Curtis, of Belcamp, MD; a brother, Charles Marsh of Jefferson, NC; three sisters, Joyce Elaine Graham of Jefferson, NC, Irma Jean Smith of Perryman, MD, and Okla June James of Roanoke, VA; two step-brothers, Jerry Marsh of Eagle Rock, VA and Leon Marsh of Roanoake, VA; seventeen grandchildren, Matthew Smallwood and Ryan Smallwood of Edgewood, MD, Travis Bennett and Robert Bennett of Joppa, MD, Tony Smallwood, Sarah Whitworth, Amanda Whitworth, and Jacob Renner of Belcamp, MD, Jessica Smallwood of Irwin, TN, Christopher Smallwood, Dylan Smallwood, Austin Smallwood, Olivia Smallwood, Stephen Smallwood, Andrew Smallwood, Zach Smallwood, and Lauren Smallwood, of Edgewood, MD; one great-grandson; and special niece, Crystal Jamie Jordan of Elkton, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Michael Brian Smallwood; a brother, Richard Marsh Jr.; son-in-law, Donny Bennett; and stepfather, Fred Marsh.

Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Travis Bennett, Anthony Smallwood, Matthew Smallwood, Stephen Smallwood, Christopher Smallwood, Andrew Smallwood, Robert Bennett and Stephen Renner.
