Patricia Ann Wright

Patricia Ann Wright, age 68, of Joppa, MD, died on October 25, 2008 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Schaffer and Nancy Katherine Kirby Lucas and wife of the late Arch Wright Sr. A resident of Harford County for 48 years, she was employed at Edgewood Arsenal in the 1960's as a secretary, and had taught at Faith Baptist Church for six years. She was also a member of New Life Baptist Church in White Marsh. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and gathering on Friday nights to play games with her friends. She loved her Yorkie Terrier, Poppy.

Mrs. Wright is survived by a son, Arch Wright Jr. of Edgewood, MD; a daughter, Deborah L. Kirby of Joppa, MD; three brothers, Joe Lucas of Ohio, James Lucas of Baltimore, MD, and Richard Lucas of Bel Air, MD; two sisters, Bonnie Peters of Jarrettsville, MD and Kathy Carroll of Chestertown, MD; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Bradd Kirby, Darren Davis, Joshua Brewer, Lee Peters Sr., Lee Peters Jr., and Anthony Holloway.
