Patricia A. Bedsworth

Patricia A. Bedsworth, age 80, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on December 20, 2021 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Laurel, Maryland, she was the daughter of Virgil and Dorothy (Hardt) Young and wife of the late William Nelson Bedsworth. Patricia was married to the love of her life for 49 years before his death last year.  Patricia was an active member of Emmorton Baptist Church and a former member of Presbury United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed working as a caterer at Martins Crosswinds.  Patricia was a shopper, enjoyed coloring and playing Tri Dominos. She loved children and enjoyed babysitting many children, some of whom blame her for their shopping habits. 

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Michelle Montgomery & fiancé Walter Ryan, Penny Denson and Dawn Reals &husband John Reals; grandchildren, Michael Rogers, Brittany Montgomery, Justin Rogers, Berlin Montgomery, Baylee Ryan, Mackenzie Ryan, Logan Denson, Jacob Reals, Jalina Denson, Navada Ryan and Joshua Reals; great grandchildren, Ayden Rogers, Kori Mae Rogers and Paisley Rogers; sister, Rose Marie Simms; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Homer Young and William “Buzzy” Young and sisters, Olive Watts and Laura Jane Young.
