Pat Whitson Palardy

Pat Whitson Palardy, age 87, of Abingdon, MD, died on March 4, 2010 at Lorien-Bel Air. Born in Bakersville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jeff and Dona Peterson Whitson and wife of the late Richard L. Palardy Sr. She had worked for Glenn L. Martin in the plant during WWII, and had also been a dental assistant, and a bookkeeper for Baltimore Transfer Company. She enjoyed painting and was a volunteer for Red Cross, Fallston General Hospital, and Tabitha's House.

Mrs. Palardy is survived by her son, Richard L. Palardy Jr. of Fallston, MD; daughters, Deborah Peters and her husband, Les, of Honolulu, HI, Stephanie Byrne and her husband, John, of Richmond, VA, and Margaret Mascari of Abingdon, MD; brother, Jay D. Whitson and his wife, Lorraine, of Unicoi, TN; sister, Gertrude Street of Unicoi, TN; and eight grandchildren.
