Pastor James Fred Wyatt, 91, of Forest Hill, MD entered his eternal home in heaven on October 23, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in War, West Virginia he was the son of Clarence Freeman and Laura (Sheets) Wyatt. He was a Pastor at Baptist View Regular Baptist Church for over 60 years and also pastored New Bridge Regular Baptist Church in Colora, MD and Auburn Regular Baptist Church in Landenberg, PA.
Mr. Wyatt is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Wyatt , with whom he shared over 73 years of marriage; three daughters, Patricia (John) D. Ruger of Oxford, PA, Darlene (Dale) Blevins of Darlington, MD, and Vickie Shatley of Colora, MD; eight grandchildren, Denise (Irving) Truslow, Diana (Steven) Hubley, Doug (Tonya) Shatley, Dorine (Bryan) Chew, Dana Blevins, David (Becky) Shatley, Alisha (Darrin) Jobe, and Matthew Shatley; 18 loving great-grandchildren; sister, Elvira (Tommy) Petty; and also survived by other loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, brother, Billy Jo Wyatt and son-in-law, Doug Shatley.
Fred worked at Bata Shoe Company for 40 years where he was well respected and remained friends with many of his co-workers. He was a caring and compassionate man who spent much of his life vistiting the sick and elderly with his loving wife by his side. He enjoyed spending time with his family, church family and friends.
