P. Kevin Kennedy

Kevin Kennedy, age 52, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on September 26, 2009 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son of Mary Grace Rock Kennedy and the late Bernard John Kennedy Sr. A graduate of Scranton Central High, he married his wife, Karen on April 19, 1986. He spent most of his career working as a Production Planner for Middle River Aircraft Systems. An avid golfer, he belonged to the Driver's Golf Club. He also belonged to an online poetry club, and as a photographer, he loved to take pictures. He was president of the Parents Organization at Harford Gymnastics for many years. An informal and very warm person, he loved life, his friends and his family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen Anne Maisel- Kennedy of Abingdon, MD; daughters, Corrie Elizabeth Kennedy and Meghan Marie Kennedy, both of Abingdon, MD; brother, Bernard Kennedy Jr. and wife, Bernadette, of Medford, MA; sister, Maureen O'Malley and husband, Robert, of Scranton, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
