Ottmar Arthur Scheffler

July 27, 1933 — March 21, 2017

Ottmar Arthur Scheffler, age 83, of Edgewood, MD passed away on March 21, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of Leo Stephanus Scheffler and Martha Ida (Kiefer) Scheffler and was the husband of the late Lucia Anna Scheffler, his true love whom he married on August 8, 1958. A retired veteran of the U.S. Army and US Postal Service with 35 years of combined Federal service, he served our country in the Korean and Vietnam Wars where he was a Bronze Star Recipient.

Mr. Scheffler is survived by two sons, Michael Scheffler and Daniel Scheffler and wife, Patrizia; daughter, Rosemary Scheffler Davis; brother, Edgar Scheffler; and grandchildren, Eric and Nicholas Davis and Samuel Scheffler.
