Otis B. Irwin

Otis B. Irwin, age 88, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on August 12, 2022 at  his home. Born in Maryland, he was the son of John and Betty (Bennett) Irwin and husband of the late Bettylou (Fletcher) Irwin.

He retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1986 where he worked in the Field Printing Office and also owned Ontario Printing Company since 1965 where he was a commercial printer.  He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of VFW Post 6027 Cecil County. He enjoyed playing softball, riding motorcycles and watching car racing.  He was a season ticket holder to the Aberdeen Ironbirds.    

Otis is survived by his son, Charles M. Irwin and his wife Carla of Havre de Grace; a grandson, Matthew Irwin and longtime companion, Ella Mae Fadeley. 

In addition to his wife, Otis was preceded in death by brothers Ed & Harold Irwin, and a sister, Marie Frantum.
