Otho ''Lee'' Cook

July 7, 1923 — February 10, 2014

Otho Lee Cook, age 90, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on February 10, 2014 at his home. Born in Clinchburg, VA, he was the son of the late Ambrose Berkley and Mary Evelyn Widener Cook and husband of the late Ruth Eileen Parris Cook. He owned and operated the Arco Service Station at Rock Spring from 1970 to 1995. He enjoyed gardening, especially tending to his grapevines, roses and tomatoes, and taking long naps.

Mr. Cook is survived by his son, James O. Cook and wife, Jean, of Havre de Grace; daughter, Carol L. Comes and husband, Robert, of Churchville; brother, Joseph Hackler of Abingdon; sister, Ruth E. Manley of Parkville; grandchildren, Robert E. Comes Jr. of Bel Air, Sandra L. Plummer of Perry Hall, Jennifer Lamb of Havre de Grace, David Farmer of Tampa, FL and Rebecca O'Connell of Havre de Grace; two great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his grandson, James O. Cook Jr.
