Ormond "Don" Higgins

Ormond “Don” Higgins, age 86, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on August 29, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in New York, New York, he was the son of Ormond G. Higgins and Margaret E. Gibmeyer. He worked as a system analyst at John Hopkins University Homewood Campus and enjoyed golf and fishing.  

Ormond is survived by his son, Wayne (Melody) Higgins; daughters, Sandra (Lamar) Hopkins and Theresa Bostock; grandchildren, Niki (Tom) McNeil, Janis Hopkins, Dorothy (Brian) Burdsall, Aubrey White, Kim White, Caleb (Kim) White, Nicholas Higgins, Jennifer (Richard) Jushchuk, Ashley Bostock and Shannon Bostock; great grandchildren, Samantha McNeil, Natasha McNeil, Farrah Taylor, Allen Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, Austin White, Amber Cimino, Mykaela Getz, Kieran White, Noble White and Skylar Jushchuk; and great-great grandchildren, Drayson Sullivan and Avirah Sullivan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Robert Higgins.
