Novella Plummer

Novella Plummer, age 79, of Bel Air, MD, died on November 7, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Forest Hill, MD, she was the daughter of the late John William and Gladys Marcenia Hylton Thomas. She spent most of her life at Hirsch's Men's Clothing Store on Main Street in Bel Air, where she worked for more than 50 years.

Ms. Plummer is survived by her brothers, J.D. Thomas of Watsonville, CA and Raymond Thomas of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Mary Bair, Helen Thomas, and Kathleen Bauguess, all of Bel Air, MD, and Peggy Stevens of Street, MD; longtime companion, D. Francis Mumma of Bel Air, MD; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Warren, Franklin, and Robert Thomas, and sister, Wilna Thomas.
