Norman Reid Spencer

Norman Reid Spencer, age 78, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on October 6, 2023 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of John Walter Spencer Sr. and Mabel Virginia (Edwards) Spencer. Norman enjoyed his corvettes, boating, and his house on the river.  He loved his family and was very mischievous. He loved his toys, Pete’s Cycle was his favorite toy store. He took pride in his lawns and keeping his things in tip top condition. He was the Vice President of the family owned business, Spencer Sand & Gravel before his retirement in 2018.  

    
Norman is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Ellen Spencer; sister, Nancy Lou Spencer; brother, John Walter Spencer Jr. (Gerry); two daughters, Christine A Muddiman (Paul), Laurie G. Kress (Paul); and granddaughter, Lauren E Foster.
