Norman E. White

December 24, 1947 — January 25, 2004

NORMAN E. WHITE, age 56, of Street, died at his home on January 25, 2004 after a brief illness. Born in Chase, Maryland, he was the son of the late James S. White and Ruth V. Thompson White.

Mr. White was an avid NASCAR fan and raced dirt track stock cars in the early 80’s. A Street resident all his life, he was a member in good standing at Bel Air Moose Family Center Lodge #1952 in Forest Hill where he held Sergeant at Arms, Prelate and Trustee on the Board of Officers. A body fender mechanic by trade, Mr. White retired in 1991, and took up his hobbies of old cars, hunting and watching nature in his back yard.

Mr. White is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia Ann Young White; one son, N. Shane White and his wife, Amber J. of Street; three grandsons, Zachary M., Joshua R. and Justin T. White, all of Street; one brother, James W. White of Delta; and a host of family and friends..

Pallbearers will be: Ed Haines, Gary Moxley, Roy Moxley, Jr., David Myers, David Webb, and Mark Zahn.
