Norma M. Kyle, age 86, passed away on December 6, 2020. She was born in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Gerald Woodrow and Ethel Mae (Carter) Mills. She was the loving wife of George W. Kyle Sr. for 49 years prior to his passing in 2002. Norma’s goal in life was to be the best wife and mother she could be. She far exceeded that goal by also being the best “Granny” anyone could love. Norma was a den mother when her boys were young, and an excellent cook who was always trying new recipes.
Norma is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Erlene and Gerald Stamper; her son and daughter-in-law, George W. Kyle Jr and Sandra Jean, daughter-in-law Cheryl Kyle, and her treasured grandchildren Terra Kyle, Amber Kyle, Shannon and husband Aaron Burkindine, Stacey Kyle and Cody Kyle; and one great-grandchild, Delaney Burkindine.
In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by her youngest son, Charles (Chuck) Kyle.
