NORMA K. HARTUNG, age 78, of Bel Air, MD, died on September 13, 2006, at her home in Bel Air, MD. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Josephine G. Kittine and the wife of the late Robert J. Hartung, Sr. She was a homemaker and a former real estate agent in Harford County. During WWII, she worked at Tung-Sol Radio Tube Factory in Newark, NJ. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church for 31 years, a member of the Ladies of St. Ignatius, and a member of a local Red Hats organization. She was a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland and a volunteer at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Hartung is survived by one son, Robert J. Hartung, Jr. of Winfield, KS; two daughters, Katherine A. McGraw of Towson, MD, and Madeline H. Collins of Bel Air, MD; ten grandchildren, Alison L. Beach of Annapolis, MD, Robert J. Beach of Annapolis, MD, Drew J. Beach of Bel Air, MD, Grant M. Beach of Bel Air, MD, Robert J. Hartung III of Winfield, KS, Cole E. Hartung of Winfield, KS, Zavier D. Hartung of Winfield, KS, Ehan M. Hartung of Winfield, KS, Patrick E. Collins of Bel Air, MD, and Madison L. Collins of Bel Air, MD; and two great-grandchildren, Bryson M. Hartung of Winfield, KS and Hayden J. Hartung of Winfield, KS.
