Norma Jean Cook, age 85, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on November 20, 2022 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Walter Rinaca and Margaret (McKim) Stover and wife of the late John H. Cook, III. Norma was a Kindergarten teacher at Youths Benefit Elementary School in Harford County for over 25 years and Norma and John proudly owned and operated Northeastern Supply for many years where Norma coordinated community outreach. She was a member of Fallston Presbyterian Church, enjoyed golfing, loved spending time with her grandkids and loved NASCAR!
Norma is survived by her son, Steve (Drew) Cook; daughter, Cher Cook-Boyle; grandchildren, Stephanie Cook, Halsey Cook and Matt Boyle; nephews, Rob (Patti) Rinaca, Mike (Diane) Rinaca and their children Lauren (Dan) Condon and Sarah Rinaca and her fiancée, Luke Gover, and Scott (Donna) Rinaca and their children Becca Rinaca and Emily Rinaca.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Rinaca and nephew, Jeffery Rinaca.
A private family service will be held in 2023.
