Norma Jean Billings

Norma Jean Billings, age 68, of Joppa, MD, died on October 9, 2008. Born in Westernport, MD, she was the daughter of the late James John and Mary Susan Davy Reno. A resident of Harford County for over fifty years, she worked at Bata Shoe Company for over 15 years, and at Old Line Plastics where she was a floor inspector. She loved to laugh and enjoyed reading, shopping, and going to the ocean. She also loved the Ironbirds and NASCAR. Her family was the center of her life, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Billings is survived by her husband of 52 years, A. C. Billings of Joppa, MD; son, Everett Billings and wife Gail of Aberdeen, MD; three daughters, Elizabeth "Libby" Billings of Edgewood, MD, Brenda Flenner and husband Karl of Joppatowne, MD, and Linda Harrington and husband Davy of Felton, PA; two brothers, James D. Reno of Joppatowne, MD and Charles E. Reno of Westernport, MD; three sisters, Elva L. Baer of Dover, DE, Mary K. Carle of Edgewood, MD, and Dorothy L. Whetzel of Westernport, MD; six grandchildren, Christopher Lee Farley, Tammy Surrett, Shannon Hagy, Everett James Billings, Erik Flenner, and Adam Flenner; and five great-grandchildren, Victoria, Alissa, and Jacob Farley, and Grantland and Connor Surrett.

Pallbearers were Christopher Lee Farley, Everett James Billings, Karl Flenner, Davy Harrington, Eddie Barnard, and David Barnard.
