NORMA J. RIGOTTI, age 73, of Bel Air, died at Hart Heritage Asisted Living, Street, Maryland on November 29, 2004. Born July 25, 1931in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lempi Johns and the wife of David L. Rigotti. She moved to Maryland in 1952 and retired after 25 years at John Carroll High School where she was secretary in the guidance counselor’s office. She was a 1951 graduate of Wakefield High School in Wakefield, Michigan. In Bel Air, Mrs. Rigotti was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, and served the church in a number of capacities. Her hobbies included traveling, golfing and being a caring grandparent.
Mrs. Rigotti is survived by her husband of 53 years, David L. Rigotti; a daughter, Lynne French and her husband Thomas A. French, Sr. of Bel Air; a son, David Rigotti and his wife Gene Rigotti of Clifton, Virginia; 3 grandchildren, Thomas A. French, Jr. of Bel Air; David C. Rigotti and Katelyn J. Rigotti both of Clifton, Virginia; two brothers, Kenneth Johns of Wakefield, Michigan and Neal Johns of Palm Springs, California and one sister, Rosemary Farrington of Palatine, Illinois. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rigotti was preceded in death by her sister, Marcia Vogel.
Pallbearers will be: James Farrington, Mike Vogel, John Jacobson, Thomas A. French, Jr., David C. Rigotti, and Neal Johns.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093 or the Building Fund of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1515 Emmorton Road, Bel Air, MD 21014.
