Nora Pearl Edwards was born on October 13, 1929 in Beckville, Texas to the late Willie Edward and Ruth House Reed. She graduated from Beckville High School and went on to Nursing School in West Texas. Upon graduating as a Registered Nurse, Mrs. Edwards moved to Baltimore to begin her nursing career. Mrs. Edwards was an avid traveler whose adventures took her across the world, from Hawaii in the 1950's to St. Petersburg Russia in the 2000's. Mrs. Edwards' final adventure was a move to sunny Florida for her "retirement".
Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Edwards Sr., two brothers, Allen and James Reed, and two sisters, Mary Sue Dumas and Ruth Reed.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by two children, C. T. Edwards, Jr. and wife Carina of Boston, Massachusetts, Lori Olszewski and husband Kurt of Forest Hill, Maryland, four sisters, Barbara Jean Fromel and husband Jim of New York, Geneva Tatum of Carthage, Texas, Dorothy Marie Perry of Texarkana, Texas, and Linda Reed of Victoria, Texas; three brothers, Billy Wayne Reed and wife Nelda, Sam Reed, and Robert Reed and wife Janice all of Beckville, Texas.
In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Edwards' name are being accepted at the Highland Presbyterian Church, 701 Highland Road, Street, MD 21154 and at The Senator Bob Hooper House, 520 Upper Chesapeake Drive, Suite 405, Bel Air, MD 21014.
