Nita (Neetz) Thompson Bardo

Nita (Neetz) Thompson Bardo, age 63, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 12, 2014 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Thompson Sr. and Elaine Emily Heaps Thompson. She worked as a beautician for several years and was happiest being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. A free spirit, she loved being on the back of a motorcycle and made friends no matter where she went. She loved animals, dancing, going to the beach, entertaining and was an avid collector of clowns.

Ms. Bardo is survived by her daughters, Tanya Renee Knight and fiancé, Johnny Ey, of Peach Bottom, PA and Michelle Lyn Spencer and husband, Spence, of Covington, LA; brother, Allen Thompson of Perry Hall; sisters, Patricia Keen of Perryville, Diane Bowen of Avoca, AR and Fran Gilbert of Perryman; grandchildren, Mindy and Misty Spencer, Kevyn Knight; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Hunter Adkins, McKenzie Wright and Baby Boy Glass; several nephews and one niece. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Johnny Thompson.
