Niculina "Nicky" V. Carr

On July 27, 2015 Niculina Viorica Carr, 63, of Joppatowne, MD passed away. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Niculina Cunningham. Niculina "Nicky" as most of her friends knew her by, was in the Coast Guard in the early 1970's. From there on she always had the love for the water and boating.

Nicky worked for Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital where she won the hearts of not only many people who worked there but also of the patients. She was a very giving person who would volunteer her time every year to play Mrs. Claus for the VA Children's Hospital. Nicky was also a member of the Edgewood American Legion and was a First Lady of Red Eye Yacht Club in Essex. She loved spending time with her granddaughter Kayla, going to horse shows and yacht club events. Her other interests were classic cars and motorcycles.

Mrs. Carr is survived by the love of her life, Robert Wayne Carr; daughter, Niculina Beveridge; sister, Lucy Lardner; and granddaughter, Kayla Niculina Beveridge.
