Nicholus Visnich, a resident of Edgewood, MD, died at the age of 82 on October 16, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Mike and Mary (Rugletic) Visnich. A 30 year veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was a member of the American Legion Post #17 in Edgewood and Abingdon VFW Post #5337. He was an avid card player and was also a member of St. Gerard's YMC of Highlandtown and the 503rd Engineer Battalion.
Survivors include his wife, Frances (Sally) A. Visnich; his children, Sharon A. Gentile, Tina L. Crouse, Nicholus Visnich Jr. and Donna K. Visnich; grandchildren, Stephen, Joshua and Dana, Casey, Nicholas and Matthew; great-granddaughter, Olivia; and siblings, Annie and Mike.
