Nellie Lucille Corbin

NELLIE LUCILLE CORBIN, age 78, of Kingsville, after a long illness died at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Belcamp on May 7, 2005. Born in Pulaski, Virginia, May 19, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Roy David and Clittus Alverta Sparks Moxley. She moved to Maryland at the age of one. She began her career at Edgewood Arsenal in 1944 and retired from the Edgewood Area APG as an Administrative Assistant in 1981 after 27 years of service. She shared her love with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Corbin valued her religion and was an active member of the Franklinville Presbyterian Church where she served as Clerk of the Session and an Elder. She was a member of the Women’s Association She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Fort Myers, Florida.

Mrs. Corbin is survived by her husband of 58 years, Raymond Corbin, Jr.; two daughters, Carol A. Danza of Abingdon and Sandra L. Walsch of Finksburg; three sisters, Marie Jeffers of Joppa, Myrtle Quinn of Edgewood, and Lydia Remines of Aberdeen; and nine grandchildren, Jeremy Brady of Olney, MD, Jonathan Brady of Abingdon, Kaitlyn Walsch, Marc Walsch, Christopher Walsch, and Molly Walsch, all of Finksburg, Angela Danza, Caren Danza, and Jill Danza, all of Abingdon; and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Brady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lester Moxley, Woodrow Moxley, and Roger Moxley.

Pallbearers were: Jeremy Brady, Jonathan Brady, Kaitlyn Walsch, Marc Walsch, Mike Walsch, and Al Danza.
